This application aims at the appropriation by the user of the knowledge of correspondences between letters and their sound values. For this purpose, this device is organized in phases in which the relations between speech and writing are presented in a structured way, from the simplest to the most complex, from the most regular to the most irregular, from the most frequent to the least frequent. There are 60 units with a target word in each unit to be learned by the user. Once he decodes the correspondences of these 60 words, he will be able to autonomously read any text that circulates in society.Units are organized on the basis that literacy can and should occur in a literacy context. As a result, all units start with the reading of a short text, continue with activities that aim to teach users to read the target word, and end with a brief writing activity.Target words were chosen based on the complexity of their internal components. As far as possible, the first words are constituted with simple and frequent syllabic structures and the last with more complex structures. With the completion of each activity, there is feedback to the user of their successes and errors. This favors knowledge of the relationship between speech and writing and the gradual development of reading competence. This application was designed to support the literacy teacher and parents, especially to manage teaching practices for students with greater learning difficulties.
